[ I DON'T KNOW WHERE WE ARE but let's just put them outside in the middle of justice circle because nico's standing here in his goth clothes and squinting into the abyss. who asked for this. why are they here.
mostly he's staring at the hero memorial. it's closed, but for how long? ]
...why does this feel kind of ominous? [ be less paranoid, kid. ]
also boy howdy what a question, because nico's like. considering this for a second. ]
Of course not. [ that would imply fear, but he still has a few issues with them. ] I'm just surprised there are still some things that are closed off to us while everything else is ready.
Right, the "original twelve." And there's still eight leaders...I thought it was referring to them, but I don't know if anyone's asked our leaders about four other people.
[ maybe that's on his to-do list later. ]
Maybe that's true. They made it sound like everything got wrecked a month ago, but with everything else already back in order I guess I was expecting more.
[ sometimes you learn a lot about what people's priorities are based on what they bother finishing first. ]
I think it'd be a good question, especially since we're kinda being recruited as new ones.
[ He hums. ]
Well some businesses are probably still getting their footing after everything that's happened. I'm sure things'll be more lively in a couple weeks! [ Hopefully. ]
I've been to a couple spots to eat. And the arena, that place is huge -- and not what I was really expecting. When you hear the word "arena" you kinda think of... what are they called, uh... gladiators? Warriors? Those kinda guys!
It's worth checking. If a few people ask, maybe we'll be able to understand our situation a little better.
[ he considers this though. ]
They might have more luck if their construction workers weren't three feet tall, but who am I to tell them how to do business? [ prinnies... ] You mean a coliseum. I haven't looked at the arena myself, but admittedly yeah that thought crossed my mind, too.
[ well. both a sports arena and a gladiator coliseum crossed his thoughts, he's 50/50 on what he thinks it might be fore. ] But with the schools around maybe it makes a little more sense. People like sports.
