You wouldn't have. [ blunt, buuut-- ] Don't worry about it though. Brains are fleshy and complicated. Mine's complicated, but tied to a system that's logical to work with.
They must know we want to kick their ass. It's not like we're keeping it a secret, and I don't think we really want to.
I would love if my brain were less fleshy though, I'm just saying. And you're not wrong about that either. [ that aside... ] I'm sure you saw whatever paper Ryuki brought back, but did you see the note from the other team yet?
Always. [ but he will pull out his phone then to show her something:
Heroes are not all powerful. Even they have only so much energy to go around, and the more it is used, the less they may hold in reserve. With only twelve heroes, even if each calls upon reinforcements, they cannot share their power with too many others, lest they be stretched too thin. As this battle grows longer and they continue to give those parts of themselves away, their power will wane as the moon’s waxes. ]
So, it's connected to the moon then. It make sense in a way -- the moon's the thing we're being told to destroy, so it becoming stronger while the leaders become weaker or lose control of what they can do seems annoyingly logical.
I wonder if it just affects them as the source? If this is saying we’re borrowing their powers, it might be that they’re running weaker than usual…?
I wonder if this will change how we can use our abilities, or whether we’ll be fine and we’ll just have to focus on making sure the others aren’t in danger.
Yeah, that's still true. I still don't really like using my powers here, but if losing them meant getting back what's mine I'd take it. I could fight the moon a lot better with my own skills and maybe it'd hurt the leaders less.
...the downside is there's definitely still the option that we lose the leaders' powers and then we have absolutely nothing for anybody.
That might not be a bad idea? I’m sure we can find a use for them even if it isn’t by handing them to prinnies to blow up in this moon jerk’s face.
Yeah. I'm starting to really think we're gonna have to be unconventional in this fight. The things we wouldn't normally think of might be the things that work for us.

So... the heroes are weaker when the moon is at its strongest?
That... isn't good.

[ much to think about... ]
I can only guess it's going to change somehow if the source is tapping out, so to speak.

It might be as simple as that, yes. Which I don't know how much I like, all things considered.

I wonder if losing the Leader’s powers would unlock the things people could do on their own, without the need for leeching someone else’s skills?
[ and then there’s her who can’t do shit because she’s still in a human body. ]

An aggressive amount of party poppers, or that prinny wave might work too?
