[ bold words for a dumbass who tried to crawl into an electrified lake earlier, but he's annoyed. ] You were always invited to come home with us. We've talked about this a few times. And even if I hadn't brought it up for some reason before, why wouldn't I still say it's true?

You...wanted to go be a pirate with Ace, and you weren't sure about coming the first time I asked, so when we talked Thursday it...I thought you had decided.

[her eyes go unfocused again - like she just cannot hear the logic that would make her believe this. she can't grasp it, it's just slippery.

he's like. not sure how to process that right now. so it takes him a few minutes of staring at her tiredly. ]

And you just forgot I'd said you could come with us. And it sounds like Temenos offered you the same, too.

I know you offered right now. Temenos offered when I talked to him last night, and so did Will, just - before that, nobody did.

[ the thing he's not telling her is that this is hurting his feelings and he's just going to decide she's either cursed or she's really trying to let him off easy which is also fine. so he sighs at that. ]

...okay. Well...offer's there if you want it. It'll be there at the end of the week, too.

there's a pause, and then:]

... I do want to. I just didn't know that you wanted me to. [she sounds kind of embarrassed.]

I don't know how many other ways to say you're so important to me. [ listen. after today he literally doesn't have enough energy to be embarrassed so let's just throw everything out on the floor for everybody to look at. ]

[ he isn't going to dive into it, but he thinks maybe it's a thing about not being used to people caring still, so the natural reflex is to assume they don't care as much as you might. ] It's whatever you decide. And it doesn't have to be right now anyway, especially if you want to talk to Saya first.

I asked her if she wanted to come with me somewhere. I think I... I asked if... [nope. that memory is gone. she shakes her head, frustrated.]

I just don't want her to have to go back to where she came from, because it sucks, and she said yeah, she'd go with me anywhere. But she - she might not look the way she does now when we leave, so.

[she rubs her face, like she has a headache.]

I don't want to go back to my world. At all.

So don't. Go anywhere you want. You have the chance to change your future the minute we leave this place, both of you. So don't lose that.

[ he shifts to lay back down again. ]

...have you seen what she looks like?

[she hesitates for a second, and then will lay back down with him if he lets her.]

Kind... of. [sweats] Reigen had her power that one week.

She said she'd show me sometime, but I don't really care what she looks like. I like her because she's her.

[ considering he's draping an arm over her again, yeah, she's allowed. will has the cocoa puff to cuddle so he's not worried about him sleeping alone in his room while he's with nimona. ]

...yeah. I didn't know if Reigen told anyone. I think I saw it in a memory of hers though. [ which he's softly pondering, but he doesn't think too much on it. instead, he rests his eyes a little but he's very much present for the conversation besides soup brain. ]
