Well, I tried my best before I set sail, but I know I'm not the smartest. Sometimes I'd be the one to tell him things were a mystery just so he'd stop asking.

You always come back to that even though it's not really true. [ not being the smartest, he means. ] Also if he didn't follow up after that then that's his own fault. Nothing to be done for that.

It kind of is, though. S'alright. I'm not trying to pretend otherwise. [ shrugs ] Luffy follows up when it interests him, mostly, so it's pretty easy to get him distracted.

Just show him another mystery to decide if he wants to pursue it or not? It would almost feel mean if it didn't work every time you did it.

If you think I'm bad, Luffy's a walking stomach. The rubber body means he doesn't even have limits!

I'm torn between that being extremely horrifying and also extremely cool. Is that how I'm supposed to feel?

Sure, something like that! [ he can't actually SAY luffy's cool he's the older brother, ] Let's just say his crew's cook must be working overtime.

Sucks to be him, but I guess if he's a cook he probably likes doing it. [ rip sanji. i think a lot about how he knows sanji in another timeline. ] ...we have a lot of people with a lot of different abilities, but we don't really have someone like Luffy.

Well, I might be a little biased, but I don't think there's anyone anywhere quite like Luffy. [ GROSSLY fond ]
