It's not fair, and I don't think any of us regret trying. [ first of all. ] ...we didn't think anything would happen and we weren't sure if telling too many people would put all of us at a greater risk. I brought Will because he's a healer and he was on standby the whole time in case something went wrong.
[ i mean that was also an afterthought, he really just went "hey new date night activity, let's do a jailbreak." but regardless. ]
But I understand. We're going to be smarter moving forward.
Yeah, we had no idea that would happen before. I wonder if there's a way to disable that from the outside, too. [ he says, as if he's considering going back to the jail and testing it. ]
If it's not a physical device somehow, it's likely some other power we haven't heard of. The police here seem like they have no idea what to do with people with powers so they could have easily commissioned someone. If we had any idea what it looked like...
[ they could've, like, broken it. ]
It does make you wonder if it's something similar to whatever made all of us fall asleep that night.
