It's incredibly impressive because the gods are not only stubborn in their ways but they resist other opinions more often than not. But I am his only child so I suppose in a way he also doesn't exactly have a choice but to listen. The only downside is I'm his only child so I have to deal with him myself whenever he feels like gracing me with his presence.

Yeah, I feel like that about the people who were around when I was little, too. Don't know my parents, but that doesn't really make a difference - someone else just takes that place.
