Okay, sure. Rugs it is. I haven't been inside yet, but how hard can it be to find them?

[ there she go!! nimona is on his shoulder, and there's a chirrup from the baby cacodemon who's camping out in his hood again. onward they go. ]

Um...red. Really red. It's dark colors which is a lot better than what I was expecting, but it's actually kind of nice. I don't know how much I'll stay there, but I like having the option. It's comfortable. Big enough for some people to visit but not big enough to get lost.

[ or feel too alone, really. onward to find rugs. ]

I like them too so far. I haven't spoken to yours and I'm not sure when I will. [ with both demon and nimona settled he walks on. ]

I'll stay sometimes but if not there then...probably with Foxes.

It's not like I was really hiding it either. [ it's pretty obvious they're from the same place if anyone looks at them long enough. ]

Guess not. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be some secret or whatever but you were like oooh, he has such good vibes, I've got the googliest of eyes for him the other night.

Aren't I allowed to see the good in someone? [ amused. he's still not outright going "yeah we've been dating for about a year" but it's fine. will would be important regardless. ] Also never use the word googly and my eyes in the same sentence again, Nimona. That's offensive.

[ especially since will is the one who was googly-eyed first. ]

But yeah. We're from the same place. So you can kind of see why I'm not interested in losing my world.

I don't get it, but if it works for you... [a pause.] Okay, but what happens if one of your teams win, though, the other doesn't get to go home. Right? Isn't that the rules according to Team Dinguses?

That doesn't work on me, my face is supposed to be offensive. [ dry jokes. and speaking of, since she's close enough she can probably see very faint scars across his left cheek. ]

It's one of the workarounds we're figuring out. Nothing says it won't happen. We just have to pressure them into clarifying their winning terms. I don't really take no for an answer anyway.

[she's so curious about the scars, but she doesn't think he'd respond very well if she was just like hey what's up with your face, so she's trying to be polite. for once.]

Me either. [re: taking no for an answer.] So if they tell you something you don't want to hear, you won't just let it go?

Something like that. It would then become more about asking in increasingly annoying ways until either they agree with me, or I find a different route to get what I want.

Yeah! And I wanted to know what they do. And now I know. Which is weapons, and trading cards, and Wonderballs.

Oh, yeah. Fox told me a little about the trading cards. I want to see those but...what's a Wonderball?

I've got a couple of them, but I gave one of them to Tama because it was of her. [wiggles.] The Wonderball is one of the things you can get. It has a random item in it. I got a fun one.

That makes sense. Guess I'll ask Tama next time I see her. [ for a moment he just. kind of lets his brain go "so wouldn't it be a funderball?" and he internally sort of snickers at his own joke and then he thinks maybe it's best nobody can actually hear his thoughts. ]

Is this "fun in general" or "fun for Nimona to torture other people with"?
