Wouldn't exactly be an ideal hero if they were, would they? [ it'd be a fun little plot twist, but he's pretty glad himself. ] They had to arrest us just like the others, but I think they understood why the jail break had to happen. It felt better to let them draw their own conclusions in the end anyhow.
You know what's something they mentioned to me? They were willing to be target practice if anyone in the team wanted to practice their powers. I told them I'd pass that along, if any of you were interested.
[But she didn't, mostly because Sigrun is aware Nico and Lillium aren't all that happy with their powers and therefore trying to practice them perhaps wouldn't be amenable, and although Jolyne seems like the fighting type, her flying ability might not need 'a target'.]
They really are willing to go far for us...pretty great of them to do that.

That's good to know. They're much better with their abilities than we are, so I could buy they'd be able to take care of themselves no matter what we threw at them. I think they want to make sure we're at the top of our game and know that we can rely on them for help if we need it. I can respect that.

[ he considers that, because...sure, maybe? it's debatable given how things went, but that does make more sense. ]
That's probably more likely though. The city obviously didn't care enough not to punish her the way they did, so our leaders makes way more sense.
