not exactly not like this anyway but we've had a lot of problems in our world that required a lot of work to solve them panicking about fallout isn't going to help us

She's not so surprised deities try to take over the world and being generally some jerks because, you know, she knows about the Norse pantheon and that includes at least passing knowledge about the Ragnarok and the such, but she thought the point of deities was that they were incredibly powerful! And yet it seems Nico and perhaps Will can defeat them...
sure, but everything has a weakness just like everything has a strength there are certain things that can be done to make sure the world doesn't end it's just our job to make sure those are accomplished
yeah that's true oh well whatever happened happened no point in thinking about stuff besides hey, where I came from the gods aren't all taht bad i think the mages once said it was because they all connected with the old gods again that humans gained powers again guess they're not too bad even though theyre deities and what not

maybe so deities are different in all sorts of worlds some are bound to be nicer than others we have a lot of kind ones if you know how to talk to them and where to find them but likewise we have a lot who just want to kill us all the time you sort of learn to deal with both and worry about the details later
