[A little pride, a little ego, and a whole lot of feeling responsible for others' wellbeing. Perhaps not to the point she'd rather they don't, but to misstep and be in a position where she needs someone else to be concerned about her or something she did, well, it feels like she did something wrong and therefore shouldn't happen]
If someone worries over me then I did something wrong, that simple.
[She did: she trusted the wrong person and it ended up in she being taken in a hostage situation]
That makes two of us. [ mostly out of pride because nico's been taking care of himself for years and it always feels a little weird when people worry and he doesn't know how to address it. so he does understand where she's coming from. at the same time: ]
But there are some things that are inevitable. And there are some things you can't predict even when you do everything right. Not that simple. It just means having to allow people to interject.
[Will didn't say anything close to that, but she can sense what Nico says being rooted in generally the same kind of point Will had said to her when he had come earlier]

Probably because Will's said similar enough before. Or I've just been spending too much time around him. That doesn't mean it's wrong though.
